Overview
An integrated distribution module in one cassette: a 50/50 FBT tap coupler is fusion-spliced to the input of a 1x16 PLC splitter with bare (no-pigtail) drops. The tap has an input pigtail (from the feeder) and an output pigtail (pass-through to the next tap); at the tap point 50% of the light is branched off and split into 16 drops while 50% continues down the mainline - the building block for cascaded PON distribution.
