A plug-and-play Gigabit Ethernet fiber switch with six optical fiber ports and two RJ45 (copper) uplink ports. It aggregates up to six 1 Gbps fiber runs - each reaching well beyond copper's ~100 m limit - and hands them off through the RJ45 uplinks, for FTTx and building-backbone deployments. The 1 Gbps sibling of the 100 Mbps 6-fiber model.
