Overview
The BROC-583 is a PON optical power meter built for both legacy and 10G PON (10G-EPON/XGPON/XGS-PON) plus RF video networks. Connected in-line on a live drop, it simultaneously measures up to six wavelengths - 1310/1270/1610 nm burst-mode uplinks and 1490/1550/1577 nm downlinks - and grades them pass/fail against 10 selectable threshold sets, storing up to 1000 records. It also includes a visual fault locator, self-calibration and an HD, sunlight-readable screen.
